Toronto Sake Events in May 2012

May is proving to be an exciting month for sake in Toronto.  Sake events are sprouting up like the tulips as we get closer to the Sake Institute of Ontario’s Kampai Toronto – Festival of Sake event, Canada’s largest ever sake tasting.  Here is a sneak peak at what is on in May:

If you missed Koji Kawakami, the 19th generation President of YoshinoGawa at Ki’s sake dinner last September 2011, be sure to treat yourself to one of the following events.  YnG is Niigata prefecture’s oldest kura, and Kowakami-San is full of interesting information on sake, Niigata and Japan – not to mention his sake is delicious!
